Truffles with Vintermumma

That our Vintermumma is a great alternative to mulled wine is old news, but we also want to recommend baking with it! For example, these snowball-like truffles with Vintermumma, roasted hazelnuts and browned butter. Now you can save apples and make something insanely delicious to drink at the same time!

Ingredients:

  • 25g butter
  • 1 dl whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp Vintermumma
  • 300g white chocolate
  • Chopped hazelnuts

Do this:

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Pour the butter into a clean bowl and let it cool.
  3. Gently heat the cream in a saucepan, add the browned butter and Vintermumma . Bring to a simmer, but do not let it boil.
  4. Finely chop the chocolate and pour the hot cream mixture over it.
  5. Stir gently until all the chocolate has melted.
  6. Place the truffle mixture in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  7. Form balls from the cold chocolate batter and roll the chocolate truffle in chopped nuts.
